Delete your KarmaJar data
KarmaJar does not require an email address or password, but it creates an app profile linked to a private user identifier.
Delete from the app
- Open KarmaJar on the device where your profile is active.
- Find the in-app account/data deletion option.
- Follow the confirmation steps to request deletion.
The app's deletion feature sends a request to remove your server-side profile. The database schema is configured to delete associated birth-chart and prayer-log records when the profile is deleted. The app then clears locally stored session and app data.
What is deleted
The active database deletion is intended to remove your profile, name, birth details, current-location details, derived chart data, and linked prayer activity. Backups and infrastructure logs may persist for their provider-defined retention periods; those periods are being verified.
Important
Uninstalling KarmaJar without using the deletion option does not automatically delete server-side records.
Cannot access the app?
If you no longer have access to KarmaJar, you can request deletion of your KarmaJar data by emailing info@getkarmajar.com.
Please use the subject line KarmaJar Data Deletion Request.
Our support team will explain the available verification steps and assist with your request. Because KarmaJar does not require an email address or password, additional information may be needed to identify and verify the correct app profile before deletion.
Please do not include sensitive birth details or authentication tokens in your initial email.
Uninstalling KarmaJar alone does not delete data stored on our servers.
